"I had planned to have my baby ..."

What I liked

I had planned to have my baby at home but was forced to come into hospital after complications. I'd previously had a bad experience during childbirth at another hospital so was very nervous.

The staff were amazing. Everyone I came in contact with was kind, caring and considerate. The service was very personal and I felt like a real person. Staff went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and put my needs first all the time. I honestly cannot sing their praises highly enough.

What could be improved

the faciltiies are very old but kept impecibly clean. It's quite off putting to see how old it is really... but they do make the very best of what they have and the new building will be a great asset to them.
