About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I received very good care during pregnancy and delivery. I suffered significant blood loss afterwards and had a team to assist there in seconds. i was cared for all night very well. after care is less well managed as apart from checks every few hours I was alone as in a private room. however, any questions or concerns I had were well answered and I was keot in for 3 days to check all was well before discharge.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Please allow me to congratulate you on the birth of your baby. I am pleased that the care you received during your pregnancy and during the delivery period was to an acceptable standard, but am sorry to note that you felt alone during some of your admission. I will most certainly pass this feedback on to the Senior Midwives who will share this with the team for information and learning. I am sure they will also be pleased to learn that any questions or concerns that you had during your admission were answered throughout your three day admission.
