"Ward 9 CAU"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

We visited wd 9 after our midwife referred our 3 day old son due to eating difficulties. Staff were very welcoming and calming during this emotional and stressful period, in particular the midwife assistant, who spent a long time with us supporting us to develop a feeding plan to include Breast feeding (something that is important to us), giving our son the support he needed in a way we were happy with. We would like them support and kindness to be formally recognised with their supervisor.

Dear Rachael Thank you for your kind comments about the staff on ward 9 and the particularly special mention of one of the midwife assistants there. We would be very happy to pass on your feedback to the midwife assistant’s supervisor. Do you happen to know their name, when you visited or any of other information that might help us to identify them? If you do, please email communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with your name, address, your daughter’s name, her date of birth and the name of her consultant/midwife if you know it and we’ll try and figure out who the member of staff is. They will be delighted to see your comments. Sincerely Communications Team Leicester’s Hospitals
