i was made to feel important from the moment that I arrived my nurse showed my husband and I to my room and then kept calling to check if I was Ok even though I had a call bell. the room and hospital was clean and very modern with phone and tv. my husband was also offered food because it was lunch time, which you do pay for at a very reasonable price, and I have to say the ham sandwich that my husband had was so thick with ham and fresh bread you could hardly get it in your mouth, it was all freshly made including the potato and onion soup. it was first class food. the staff that we came into contact with were very very accommodating, pleasant and polite. my consultant was very knowledgeable and was lovely with us both, they did a great job and we are really pleased with our experience in Spire.
