About: Hillingdon Hospital

I was admitted to a Day Care Unit (Female) at Hillington Hospital for toe mallet toe deformity operation on 23rd April 2015. They had already prepared an ‘allergy’ name band and were preparing me ready for the operation. All the members of the Day Care Unit (Female) from my Consultant , Sister, Nurses, Anaesthetist, the Theatre porter and the Recovery nurse and Support staff were very caring, reassuring and kept me inform of my progress before and after my operation. I recovered very well and I went home happy. I was very impressed with Hillingdon Hospital and I thank you all for the hard work you do for us.

Dear Ms Cinnamond, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience in Hillingdon Hospital. We are very pleased that you felt that you were treated well and kept informed by our staff in the Day Care Unit and Theatres. We recognise that coming for surgery can be a distressing time and how important it is to ensure that patients are kept reassured & up to date with information. I have shared your feedback with the staff in both departments. They were delighted to hear your comments; they do strive to deliver a good service and it is always good for staff moral to receive such praise. Kind regards Sinead Fagan – Assistant Director of Nursing, Surgery & Anaesthetics
