"Burstow lovely nurse"

About: East Surrey Hospital

I gave birth on the 12 feb I only stayed one night, I have to say rusper ward was ok I had my own room as I was meant to be induced but never got that far as I went into labour I wasn't really checked on but the midwifes were around, I then went to delivery were the midwife was great and delivered my baby, and then we were transfered to burstow ward, once the night came my partner went home and I had a lovely nurse that came round to see me as my baby was sick a lot (it was brown from the delivery) so I was worried, they helped me change the baby and bedding and as it was quite they sat with me it was just what I needed as a first time mum, I don't remember the nurses name but they said they would stay until it stops and sit with me a bit. I would love to say a massive thank you to this nurse and all the staff, as it is a busy ward and things might get missed but I think they are trying there best. Thanks holly

Dear Holly,

Congratulations on becoming a mum and thank you for finding the time to post your feedback. It is always good to hear of such positive experiences and I know our staff really appreciate being thanked for a job well done. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the midwives on the ward. There is a high chance that the midwife concerned will know who she is!

With best wishes,

Cathy
