My name is Aidan P Cooney. I joined the Diabetic Clinic because I was morbidly obese. Since I was already attending the department of Endocrinology and Metabolic medicine due to Hypothalmic-Pituitary problems, the doctor carefully screened all previous treatment and testing. Since then I have lost over 2 stones in weight due to a regime which includes a novel drug and diet that was recommended. My glucose blood levels have also reduced dramatically. I continue to maintain my weight loss. I am extremely impressed and grateful to all the consultants, endocrine nurse specialists, dieticians and the friendly and courteous reception staff, that have gone out of their way to assist me.
