New system for checking in at Main Entrance is unsatisfactory. Despite arriving 30mins early for my appointment there were long queues to check in which resulted in me arriving late on the ward for my appointment. Experienced the same problem again when accompanying an elderly neighbour to her hospital appointment. So much better when check in was at the department you were visiting. Much more efficient. Follow up appointments issued in the post not convenient - difficulty getting through on the phone to change them. So much easier when receptionist in department you were visiting could make a follow up appointment for you at a time convenient for you. Nursing and medical staff terrific - thank you.
