About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

My husband collapsed in Fareham shopping centre, on Wednesday 22nd April the attention he received from the staff in the centre, the paramedic and ambulance staff was fantastic, on arriving at A&E the nurse was very attentive we were then taken round to a ward to see the doctor, we cannot praise the nurse enough who was assigned to us and the doctor we saw was marvellous, we explained we lived in Southampton and our only transport was a bus,so he did everything he could to speed up the blood test and treatment to enable my husband to be discharged you couldn't ask for better care. Many thanks to everyone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. I am so pleased that through what must have been a very distressing time for you and your husband, our staff remained professional and attentive. I am extremely pleased to learn that the doctor was able to expedite your husband's blood tests and treatment to ensure that you could both return to home to Southampton as soon as possible. Please be assured that I will of course pass your kind comments on to the Emergency Department's Senior Management Team for their information. Please allow me to take this opportunity to wish you and your husband all the best for the future. Kindest Regards Leanne Complaints Officer
