I have not visited a dentist for 3 years, following an extremely traumatic experience with a dentist in Sunderland, that left me traumatised and lacking in confidence. For some months now I have experienced profuse bleeding from my gums, and in the past 2 weeks a crown has fallen off, causing pain and discomfort. It has taken me weeks to build up the courage to go to the dental hospital, but today I went....because I am vey worried about my mouth. The member of staff on reception was absolutely professional and helpful, however they had to inform me that no-one would see me. I was visibly distressed, and with credit to this gentleman they did try again...and again I was refused consultation or advice...other than to "swab the bleeding with a cotton bud" . I foolishly believed that this clinic was for NH patients? I do not have a dentist and desperately needed help.
"Rejected without consideration"
