"Best ward in the area"

About: Accrington Victoria Hospital

Having been in the unfortunate position of having visited relatives in numerous ward in this area over the last 2 years including end of life care for my partners mother and current end of life care for my mother. Ward 2 at Accrington Vic is an amazing contrast to every other ward. The staff care, there is never a moment when the staff stand round chatting, they are permanently caring for the patients. I have never witnessed cleaners so conscientious. I cannot speak highly enough of this ward. If this can be achieved here why can this not be a national model.
