Yesterday I was out walking when I suffered severe chest pains. My wife called the ambulance service and a first responder attended and took great, care in checking me over with kindness. They took me to the BRI A&E where I was quickly examined and the doctor discussed what action they would take. I was given an ECG, blood tests and. CT scan which proved conclusively that fortunately I had not had a heart attack. The doctors, nurses, radiography staff were highly professional, treated me with dignity and told me exactly what was happening. Like most people I have only a fleeting glance of our NHS and if what happened to me was typical all I can say is that the health workers at the BRI are providing the best care. My thanks to the team at A&E for their professionalism and kindness.
"What a wonderful service"
