"Triage and labour ward horror"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

I have recently had my baby daughter there i had very fast labour with my 1st child (under 3 hours) so have been advised by MW in antenatal clinic come in soon as i have contractions. Called to triage on the day was having contraction as i was on the phone with MW managed to explain the situation still they insisted that i shall take a shower and panadol. Didnt take the advice ( thankfully!!!) got a taxi and was in hospital in 30 mins. Same person that was on the phone is in triage and talked down to me that i should have listened and stayed at home, "we dont have facilities to check every woman who thinks she is in labour". Long story short they checked me and i was 4 cm already no apologies no explanation "put your clothes on" and they took me to labour ward I had my girl in 1.5 hrs. I though nightmare would finish in triage i was wrong my birth was assisted by MW who never delivered baby before and it was her 1st day in this hospital. They had no idea even when towels and gloves are let alone leading me through the labour. They kept on checking my BP while in active labour, called the doctors who also were quite unhelpful with all situation. I can only see how wonderful my 1st labour was and amazing was the MW (Royal London Hospital). I went to hell and back during these 2 hrs and couldnt even hold my baby afterwards. I went to Queen Charlotte Hospital purely based on reviews and due the fact thaf it was 30 mins away from my house and they have given worst experience ever. Felt like having a baby in barn.
