This was my first ever stay in a hospital and I was admitted to the ward as an emergency case in the early hours of the morning. From the moment I arrived staff were on hand to make me feel reassured and ensure that I was as comfortable as possible before I was seen by the doctor on shift at the time. The nurses were incredible and made me as relaxed as I possibly could be given the circumstances. The volunteer staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. My treatment was excellent and was discussed with me at every stage. Couldn't have asked for better care.
