"Heartfelt Thanks"

I would like to thank all concerned at Glenfield Hospital for the wonderful care given to my wife during her Coronary bypass operation. The professionalism and dedication at all levels from surgeon through to ancillary ward staff was exemplary . I would like to thank in particular the staff of the adult intensive care unit who acted with such speed and efficiency when my wife had a post op cardiac arrest. The same standard of care was reached by all the staff on Ward 31 who made the stay as comfortable as was possible allowing for a speedy discharge. The care given was not only to my wife but to myself as a very concerned husband and every question I asked was answered honestly which went a long way to easing my concerns. The staff who cared for my wife are a credit to the hospital and to their profession. I would be grateful if these comments could be passed on to the relevant staff in both areas and to the senior managers concerned.
