"I could not have been treated better anywhere"

I have been diagnosed with Bladder Cancer, I requested referral to Addenbrookes, I was quickly given an appointment for pre-op assessment which was rapidly and efficiently carried out. Very soon after, a member of staff in appointments called me re admission to the Day Care Unit for Rigid Cystoscopy. All of the staff in this unit were incredible, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst still paying meticulous attention to hygiene and hospital standards. The Surgeon and their team could not have put me more at ease, the nursing staff were all tremendous and as I was the last on the list, I had to have an overnight stay on the unit and the nurse who attended to me and removed the catheter was brilliant and I thank everyone on the unit for the attention I received. The follow up with the consultant and the staff at Clinic 4A were just as helpful, informative, laid back and very professional at all times. My follow on treatment for Chemo Therapy with the Sister was again superb, great care and attention to detail and friendly attention giving information to myself and my wife. My wife has had considerable surgery in private hospitals in Cambridge so I can speak from experience and confidently say, I could not have been treated in either of Cambridge's Private Hospitals.
