"A&E trip"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

We recently attended A&E after my Uncle was taken by Ambulance from his Care Home with breathing difficulties. The care he received was excellent in A&E by a Doctor and a very kind nurse. He went for x-rays and the radiographers were excellent and very patient. So thank you. The only frustrating part was after he had been for x-rays the Doctor didn't return to update us on what would be happening next and we had a long wait before he was transferred to the ward. Overall, very good care and it was especially nice that every member of staff introduced themselves before starting their tasks.
