After originally being admitted through a&e, I was disappointed with the attitude the nurse had towards me. It was as if she was implying I was "faking" my symptoms and being over exaggerate. However once confirmed by a doctor that my symptoms were indeed real I was sent on to another ward for further testing.
Once on this ward the nurses were brilliant, I was seen to immediately, the nurse was very compassionate and made me feel at ease the whole time. She also took me into a side room to ask personal questions which I felt was very dignifying. Although there was nothing the nurses could do for me, I felt they were very caring about my illness.
