"My experience in Perth Royal Infirmary"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted for elective surgery for a hip replacement. Afterwards I suffered from temperature drop, vomiting, a temperature and low blood pressure. After 5 days in bed they tried to get me up and I fainted twice.

Eventually it was agreed I needed a blood transfusion.

It was a caring environment and a clean ward.
