"A&E and paramedics"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Myself and my son were recently involved in a car accident,an ambulance was called which arrived quickly. We were both assessed at the scene and cared for with great care and attention,we were promptly taken to queens where doctors were waiting in resus to treat my son.Everything was explained to use and my son was quickly taken for scans and tests,i was then taken to majors where i was treated and given an xray. The staff were very friendly and i was discharged and able to get back to my son.It was decided he needed to be transfered to a london hospital, this was all done promptly.I would like to say i couldnt have asked for better care at this difficult time and although the hospital is very busy i feel all staff gave the best possible care.Unfortunately i didnt get anyones names in A&E who took care of us but i would like to say thankyou.

It was great to read your comment and I am so pleased that you received prompt care and that the staff were friendly and informative. It is lovely to hear your positive feedback and I will ensure this is shared with our A&E department. Yours sincerely, Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
