"Unacceptable Waitiing Times"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

Currently being investigated for a cardiac condition. Initially I was impressed with the service and the first set of tests were very timely. Since then it has all been downhill I'm afraid. Had to wait six weeks for the next test, and have just been given a date for the next test (MRI), which is in ten weeks time. Given that diagnostic tests should have a maximum wait of 6 weeks and non urgent elective care should be completed in 18 weeks from referral, Musgrove will fail both these targets spectacularly in my case. Have no complaint about the clinical care but the coordination of tests is poor and the length of wait is simply not good enough.
