"A huge thank you to A&E"

A huge thank you to all of the staff at Northampton General Hospital A&E. I took my husband there last night as he was suffering with chest pains. He was seen within 5 minutes and given an early diagnosis of a severe chest strain, it was a relief to know so quickly that it was not more serious. The doctor saw him within 30 minutes and prescribed painkillers and we were discharged 1 hour after admission with excellent advice for his recovery. I have been able to make an appointment this morning to see our GP for further pain relief. My experience of the NHS is nothing but positive, I have found that if you need to see a health care professional, you can without a problem.
