What I liked

Hello All,

I was admitted to PAH thrice whilst my pregnancy due to a nasty urine infection. First it was in April and the situation was critical. God only knows how they saved my life. I only realised after a weeks treatment that i spent the whole week in ICU (General). I really Owe a lot to all the people in ICU. Then i was re-admitted due to the same reason in May, this time to PAH (High Dependency). All the nurses, midwives and staff were really helpful and paid so much attention to my stories. Then finally in the month of July i was admitted with my labor. Thanks to all the nurses & midwives for making me giggle with Nitric Gas. It was a painful labor but the baby was definately a blessed one. The baby was a bit early but the Neonatal Unit crew were hillarious in looking after my lil boy. They gave me a complete report about my baby everytime i visited him. The Neonatal team is well trained and experienced and i thank them from bottom of my heart though they deserve much more than a hearty thanks. I've read a few negative views about some of the PAH staff in this forum but i think they need to also look out how many patient these nurses deal with and i bet they mostly have long days or nights at work. Afterall they are human beings they might get frustrated at times. How ever in my case may be i was lucky, i had all lovely people around me and i am much obliged to all the staff of PAH.

I would definately recommend my near and dears to PAH.

Many Thanks

Maria

What could be improved

Even though i dont drive, I've seen my husband struggling to get into the bays. They are too narrow. God only knows how women with a bump could manage to get in there. I think other than parking everything else is outstanding.

Mariyam: thank you for your comments - we have passed your thanks on to the team at the Princess Anne.

We are certainly continuing to look into the parking issue and improving transport to the site in general.
