"My day case procedure at the Royal Derby Hospital"

I would just like to say that how impressed i am with the care I received on Friday 17th April in ward 207 day case ward. What struck me first was the cleanliness of the room I had, and the bathroom facilities were spotless. The staff were friendly and informative, I never felt uneasy about the operation I was about to have at all. The orthopedic consultant was very nice and came to me just after my admission to explain what was going to happen. I then had a visit from the anaesthetist who again gave me a choice sedation. The nurses who booked me in and the nurses who did the observations were lovely. From going down to theatre and meeting theatre staff I would not have received better treatment had I been in a position to pay for private treatment. Recovery staff were excellent, and I was so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you so much for your super care.
