"My worst ever NHS experience"

I visited my GP on Friday 17th April as I had been assured by the secretary at Northwick Park that my results could not be sent to me (having previously told me that they would be) and would be sent to my GP. My GP is more than an hour's drive away, but I made an appointment. The results had not been received after more than a month!!! No CT scan or MRI results, no blood test results and no lumbar puncture results (but I was told by the secretary - yes the secretary and not the doctors - that LP test results usually took 6 weeks). However, my GP had received a letter which (according to the doctor) was very brief and not very informative at all - saying that I had tested positive for MRSA. I am now going to have to write in (apparently the only way) and pay 30 pounds to get the results sent to me! No matter what is wrong with me, I shall never set foot inside this hospital again.
