"Very unreliable and poor diagnosis"

About: University College Hospital

This and all NHS hospitals severely lack a qualitative diagnosis. If an emergency is occurring the receptionists on the front desk do not have a clue about what is happening and just tell you too go to a GP. What if you have just moved to London? they do not refer you to any GP or a specialist for you're case. If you have an emergency on a Saturday or Sunday, then you may aswell pray that you won't have to wait for atleast 3 hours in a walk in clinic while in agonising pain. This kind of treatment is not acceptable considering the UK is in the EU and so much of the taxes and government spending is being thrown away at the public health care sector. If you have a private insurance it is the same treatment during weekends. Any private doctor or clinic will not see you unless you are going blind, dying or terminal. The whole medical system in this Country is not acceptable and needs to be revised immediately and fixed.

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us. We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience of trying to contact the Ophthalmology services at UCLH. We would be grateful if you could contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) via pals@uclh.nhs.uk or by calling 020 3447 3042 so that we can look into your concerns about the service at UCLH.
