What I liked I was very impressed by the whole experience of treatment, nursing and explanations given re treatment. The ward I was on [A5] was kept clean and the cleaners came round more than once a day. The nursing staff were always around and were friendly and informative. You were treated with respect. Nothing was too much trouble. Finally, the menus offered good choices for all meals and the food was hot and of good quality.Not often you hear that about hospital food ! What could be improved? The washing and toilet facilities left much to be desired. Although clean, because of their age and run down condition they were not spotless. Anything else? If I had to go back into hospital again, I would opt for this hospital every time.
