"Excellent maternity service"

This was my second baby at the hospital. I chose to go back and have my second baby there after having such a positive experience first time. My labour was very long and complicated first time. I was very disheartened and the staff did all they could to turn it into a positive experience. On the post natal ward staff couldn't have been more helpful. From helping me to breastfeed to going over my labour notes with me explaining why it was how it was. So second time around I didn't need to think about where I wanted to have my baby. And it didn't disappoint. Staff were very very friendly and I felt extremely looked after and cared for. This labour was similar to my first and staff did all they could to reassure me and make it as comfortable as possible. On the post natal ward staff were helpful with post care. Ensuring my baby and I were comfortable. All in all, a fantastic experience both times. Well done to all staff on what is a very busy, and at times over stretched ward, but they don't allow this to hinder the care.
