"Thank you!"

About: Lister Hospital

Im sorry that i cant remember all the names of people involved in my care, but i want to pass my huge thanks on to everyone who looked after me. I had an ectopic pregnancy in early February and the care that i received was amazing. Although i went through the most traumatic time of my life the staff were always there to ensure that my husband and i understood everything about what had happened, what would happen during surgery and aftercare. We arrived in A& E and although there was an expected wait all staff were kind and fast once we were seen. One nurse who works on the Early Pregnancy Unit was brilliant and so thorough. After surgery i was taken to Ward 7a (i think!) and cant thank all of the staff enough for really caring and taking the time to give me a hug and check i was okay. Feel that its so important to write this as you have so much negative press all the time! Keep doing what you're doing because its making a huge difference x

Response from Lister Hospital

It sounds like that despite the hugely traumatic time you and your husband experienced last February, our staff - from arrival in A&E through to your surgery and recovery - provided you (and your husband) with top notch care. We know that they will say that this is just what they do, day in day out - but we also know that they will be delighted to read just how highly you rated them! As we speak, your comments have been passed to them - all that remains is to thank you once again for the time taken in posting your comments - we hope that you continue to make a good recovery.
