"Thank you to the nurse who comforted me"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I am the world's worst at going to the doctors and worse still going to hospital.

I had to go to the endoscopy department for a camera scan down my throat etc in mid-April 2015. Even though I have had it done before I was petrified and had a panic attack.

All the staff were brilliant but one in particular really looked after me and did her best to comfort me. So as a thank you to her I want to tell 'the powers that be' some information about her. Her name is Samantha, she works in the endoscopy department and is a staff nurse.

Would you please make a note of this and if possible let her know that I have contacted you saying how good she was to me?

Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your experience when you recently attended the Endoscopy Department. Staff work hard to provide a high standard of care and it always extremely pleasing to hear that is reflected in the experiences our patients have.
