"my baby girl got rushed in"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Ad twin girls 9 week early they were in neonatal for a month they were fantastic then they had been home a fortnight and one of themcstoped breathing my husband had to bring her back to life phoned an ambulance got rushed into resus at A n E the ataff were fabulous my baby girl had an apnea again and the intensive care team had a crash call to her they brought her back. She was admitted for 5 days. On visiting the illtwin the other twin stoped breathing I my arms on wayinto childrens ward where her twin was the nurse asjed to do obs and she had an apnea stopped breathing and had to habe cpr 4 times the staff on children's ward were fantastic and kept my baby girl alive all day and never left her alone untill the transport team came to put a ventilator in and transfer her to alder hey. From me going into delivery suite and walking out after our horrible ordeal me and my baby girls were looked after perfectly 110% and can not fault any staff member even my hubby was made to feel at home. Thank you to all Involved. Without the rli staff our twin girls would have lost there life. Everything was pssed through us before they just did anything and we were kept in the light of everything. They both had bronchitis

Thank you Alison for taking the time to write a comment on your experience of our services during a very distressing time. We have passed on your comments to the staff involved in your twin girls' care. Many thanks again and best wishes to all the family!
