Attended a&e 9th of November 2014 with a knee injury and was miss diagnosed.Attended fracture clinic on the 14th of November told i need an mri and sent for a stroll to physiotherapy despite been on crutches . On the 18th I attended physio I was called by the wrong name throughout my appointment then my leg was pushed causing a tearing pain which set me back 2 weeks. On the 20th I gave physio a second chance where the therapist instead I use equipment my own gp told me not to use due to an existing condition. Not only did they insist I use the equipment but got me on it and dissappear. After more torture I had to tell them I could not take any more. They couldn't care less! I left in pain and crying. 6th of December mri at pontefract fantastic staff and treatment. 6th of January 2015 back to the fracture clinic the doctor told me I had an acl rupture and I was coming back. 11th of February 2015 told I needed key hole surgery on my knee and sent for a pre-op. I was told 6-8 weeks and I was been put on a cancellation list. on Thursday the 12th of February I was in so much pain I had to beg for pain relief from my gp. Since then it has all been down hill not only have I suffered falls and a trip to a&e. My gp has written to pinderfields to explain my worsening pain. And then im told with current waiting times im looking at August for my operation ! Depression and pain you report to your gp ! I had a reaction to codeine and tramadol ! I had to get married in this state and are unable to even book an holiday. I am totally disgusted by my treatment from pinderfields and have been offered no alternative options other than pay five and a half thousand to go private. 5 months is far too long to be like this i have had enough !

The trust has been in frequent contact with this patient and has responded to the complaint which was submitted.
