"My Lung Cancer was removed."

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Thoracic surgery

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with lung cancer back in August 2013. Within 9 weeks of being diagnosed I had CT scan, biopsy, breathing test.

I had my operation in October 2013. My Surgeon Mr Q Abid is a miracle worker. He removed 2/3 of my right lung. I have just been for a check up 18 months after my op and I have the all clear.

Mr Abid saved my life. I will never be able to thank him enough. He gave me my life back. I am still a little nervous when I have to go for my check ups just in case the Cancer re appears but for now, thank you Mr Abid, you are an angel in disguise, a miracle worker at the highest level.

I still have to go back for check ups for another 3 1/2 years but right now I am living my life, thank to this wonderful man.
