What I liked

I was admitted to the Royal Berks via A&E following a bleed after having my tonsil out. My only other hospital experience was when I had my tonsils out in a portsmouth hospital which was a horrible experience (due to rude and uncaring staff and the need for me to vacate the bed quickly so it could be reused.) On arriving in A&E I was seen to quickly then put onto a bed, the staff were brill calmed me down and very caring even though it was 2 in the morning! I was eventually admitted to a ward were the service was equally as good, the ward was very clean and the toilets were spotless. The staff ,especially the nurses were lovely, making me feel as comfortable as possible and passing on messages from my grandma who called numerous times to check iu was ok! At every shift change over you were introduced to the new nurse which I found very helpful and they were debriefed on you and your condition. Cannot stress enough how pleasent my experience was! Left hospital almost not wanting to leave!

What could be improved

Food for vegetarians is terrible!
