"Maternity unit"

I wanted to share the brilliant customer service offered to me by the staff within the maternity unit in rhh. I was immediately put at ease and offered what I felt was private medical treatment given the personal service offered by the staff of duty. The midwife on charge was sympathetic and showed an enduring length of time through all my questions and although I imagine they had multiple people to look after that night I definitely I was getting a VIP service. I want to mention especially the service offered by my midwife, they were absolutely amazing and is a credit to your hospital, definitely one in a million midwife and I cannot thank them enough for their support which included staying extra on their shift to see me through an operation.( that's what I call service). Also a mention to another midwife who was also on charge who assisted with my birth, again they were extremely caring and put me at ease during one of the most difficult but exciting times in anyone's life. I owe you both a lot. Also thank you to the staff in the neonatal unit, my husband tells me they were extremely welcoming and caring for my little boy and made him feel very welcome at any time, further he did not feel a burden or in the way which given the demanding lives of hospital staff is a credit that sometimes goes un-noticed. I visited rhh 2 years ago with my first child at the time and I cannot say what a contrast in service it has been, this visit definitely restored my faith in the nhs and a well deserved acknowledgment of my great experience.
