"Lovely clean environment-reassuring"

I have had several appointments and one op at Boston West. The cleanliness is apparent from the moment you enter, all staff are helpful. My post op care was brilliant, couldn't fault it! The only issues I felt let the system down were, firstly having clinics running an hour or more late (would be good to be updated and not left to go to ask the receptionist whats happening...annoying to hear 2 different reasons given to 2 different patients for the delay). Secondly, whilst my Orthopaedic consultant was very patient focused and excellent both at taking a history and answering questions, I found the gynaecologist I saw very different. They were running an hour late and I can understand that they would be feeling stressed, but I left my appointment feeling that I need not have even been there as I was told, not asked what my symptoms were etc . I felt that I had not been listened to .

Sometimes, unfortunately, delays are inevitable however our policy in these situations is to ensure patients’ are kept fully informed and made as comfortable as possible during their wait.
