The support I received gave me an opportunity to express my feelings without embarrassment for either myself or other people. It gave me support over a long period of time - after others had 'forgotten'. It helped me to feel that my feelings were acceptable and normal rather than trivial in comparison with wider world problems.
The people who supported me were friendly, informed, sensitive, responsive, caring and supportive.
I would like to express my gratitude for the breadth and amount of support provided both specific to the bereavement support service and the whole of John Taylor Hospice's service. Everyone I have come into contact with even to people with home I have had no previous interaction while passing through reception have a welcoming nod and smile and make this hospice a welcoming and supportive environment. All staff are excellent.
