"Appointment Waiting Time"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

My doctor sent a referral a month ago but I have not yet received an appointment date. Having developed a skin condition which isn't responding to antibiotics (having taken these initially for 3 months together with steroid cream), I am now on my second month of a different brand of antibiotic which again is not working. I have been suffering with this condition (facial dermatitis) for 8 months. I have tried on a few occasions to contact the dermatology department initially being transferred to different departments before finally reaching the correct department only to be kept hanging on and on before finally giving up. Recently got through to the dermatology department and received an answering service so resorted to leaving a message in the hope that the call will be dealt with. Joan Cooper
