What I liked
Surgical team were fantastic, one could not have received better care anywhere, this was my second time for major surgery, the first being in August 2008 a brilliant consultant leading a super team of doctors.
What could be improved
Overworked and uncaring nursing staff
Anything else?
It would have been helpful if most of the nursing staff had some grasp of the English language, I felt at times that I was on a bed in a war zone and just left to suffer until I screamed for help!!!
One nurse told me when I wanted a bed pan she was too busy, when I remarked that I would soil myself the answer was, we can clean you up, not good for one's dignity.
