I was admitted to ward 44 on 8th April 2015 after lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for my care. My very talented surgeon is an amazing person who immediately instilled confidence in me. They explained everything carefully and made sure that i understood all aspects of my treatment and care. Ward staff were caring and professional at all times. Despite being extremely busy they found the time to comfort others who were less fortunate than myself. In particular a nurse with 11 years experience of working on the ward showed that they really cared with more than one patient finding the time to chat and reassure patients about their treatment and care. Also a young domestic from the ward passed me as I was leaving the hospital after being discharged on 9th April and took the time to wish me well. It is these little things that make a good hospital outstanding! Well done RVI
