I know that the NHS is constantly under criticism from all quarters but my visit today has left me very satisfied. I was assessed promptly by a triage nurse, saw a doctor, was sent to X-ray, back to the doctor, then wheeled all the way to physiotherapy for crutches before being driven home well in time for lunch. All staff were polite, professional and treated me with respect and empathy for my condition. My only negative part of the trip was that whilst waiting to see the doctor the TV was blaring out the Jeremy Kyle show. When people are feeling under the weather already, ( some perhaps becoming even a little impatient) is it the best to subject them to a TV programme which seems to be just filled with agreessive and loud people who just seem to slag each other off? Just a thought... I continue to support our National Institution. Thanks to all the staff working there.
"Successful A and E visit"
