About: University Hospital Of North Durham

Attended an appointment to see a consultant less than 24 hours after breaking my foot, who was rude and I couldn't have been in their office more than a minute. I can't walk only shuffle or hop. As soon as I sat down I was told it was a nasty break but will heal in time, at this point I cried because it hurt so much and I can't hop everywhere, or put a shoe on. The consultant said good bye and wasn't going to discuss it further. A nurse followed me out, who was lovely and seemed to genuinely care how unhappy I was. First visited another hospital who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
