My son was admitted to hospital at 9 months old with gastroenteritis. He was choking when bringing up the sick which was causing him to pass out, which was obviously very scary for us.
The paramedics were amazing at looking after my son, A and E care not so great I have to say we were placed in a cubicle, my son still passing out every few minutes which was also very scary.
We were then sent to the childrens ward where we were seen by the doctor, who was really helpful and put our mind at ease. I was allowed to stay with my son in the hospital which was great. The care in which he recieved from the nurses and the doctors especially doctor cruden, who noticed right away that our son had not been gaining weight as he he would have liked (after months of us going back to the gp and health visitor and getting nowhere) our son was finally diagnosed with severe acid reflux aswell as the sickness bug.
If it had not been for doctor cruden and his team, my son would not be gaining weight at all, but now I have a happy healthy little boy!
Thank you so much.
"Thank you for my son's hospital care"
