What I liked

This letter is a great pleasure to write. I wish to congratulate the whole team of G Ward at the Horton for the first class service they deliver. Contrary to the stories that we hear about the NHS, this was as good an experience as possible, due I am sure to the excellent management of the ward.

Everyone was helpful, kind, efficient, considerate and re-assuring, both nurses and doctors. The atmosphere is positive and cheerful which surely aids recovery. Admittedly by chance I was fortunate to have my own room, but I saw that everyone had the same high level of care. The standard of cleanliness appeared to be first-class and even the food was good.

In addition, since my discharge the ward has been available for follow-up and advice. Unfortunately I had to take advantage of this and called in on three occasions. Each time I received the same high level of attention and care. Many, many thanks.
