About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Had a recurrence of rapid heartbeat (previously experiencd in 2010) so my husband drove me to A and E arriving at about 10. 45pm I was registered and triaged within 5 minutes and was in Resus in a couple of minutes more. I cant fault the care I received, moved to the Short Stay unit at 6. 00 am monitored hourly until 3pm when I was seen by the Consultant and home again by 7. 00pm The follow up process hasnt been quite so good but I'm not too concerned by what seems to be a complex system.
