"The consultant appears completely uninterested"

About: Alexandra Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had a very similar experience with a consultant as one of the ladies here.

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant and have seen the same consultant twice now. Completely not interested, appearing very fed up and bored of their job, constantly sighing when asked for advice and brushing aside all concerns a first time mum has. The looks and responses I received from them made me feel like I'm asking the most ridiculous questions on earth.

The consultations last 2 minutes. Main question is if the baby is moving, if it is then the conversation is over and I'm given the notes back to go home after I've waited to be seen for over an hour. Complete waste of time.

Even my midwife was surprised they didn't even complete my notes at the hospital. Patronising and unhelpful useless "consultation".
