"Eric Ridge d of b 20.08.1921"

My dear Dad was taken to this hospital by ambulance after a fall. The paramedics said he was ok but they would take him to hos just to be checked over. After a week without any feedback from the doctors he became very poorly. I requested to speak with the doctor on call who was sitting at the nurses station. The doctor refused to speak with me. At 3 am that night I received a call to attend the hospital So having rushed to the hos to be with him I was shocked to discover he had died before their call was made. Also he asked not to be resuscitated. We later found that the crash team were called and they tried 3 times. The thought of my 92 year old Dad having his chest compressed still haunts me. This all happened over a year ago. I did speak with PALS but I never received their promised phone call.
