About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

The A&E department is a joke. Four hour waiting times, staff are rude and could not care less. Totally disinterested in you and the waiting times. I would avoid this hospital. It is also not A&E that is a joke, all departments I have dealt with, have been poorly organized and far from perfect.

Our sincere apologies for your perspective on the care you received in the Accident & Emergency Department during your recent visit. Unfortunately it is a very busy department and at times the waiting time reflect this. We try hard to achieve the target of arrival to discharge within 4 hours but at times when we high numbers of serious incidents in this is not always possible.
