A&E was completely full. The staff on reception were receiving negative comments from waiting patients complaining. The staff on reception were dignified, professional and working flat out. I really thought some of the publics bullish manners were completely unjustified, rude and wrong. When you end up in A&E, the staff aren't making you wait on purpose, or trying to cause you inconveniences. Seeing what I did, I take my hat off to the NHS staff. From the ambulance crew, nurses and doctors that looked after me. Yes I waited hours, and things weren't perfect but what do you expect when A&E was soooooo hectic and busy. NHS staff are human, not robots. Perhaps it's time the UK do what the USA do, no NHS, public pay for their own private cover that would meet some of the complaining members of the publics own grand expectations.
