"Heart attack"

On Easter Sunday I had to be taken to the A&E dept by friend suffering from chest pains.I didn't know at the time it was a heart attack all I knew was I had very bad chest pains.Within 15mins of arrival I had my chest shaved,dye pumped into my blood system,morphine administered and rushed to a theatre for further treatment.A stent was placed inside the artery and job done all within 3hrs of arrival.I would like to thank the consultant and their team for their prompt action and all the nursing staff on the cardiac ward who were first class.I'm sure there was a lot more involved than I have recorded but all I could think about was the pain.Again thank you all so very much Derby are very fortunate to have such dedicated Doctors and Nurses in the Hospital.
